CNN-The people waiting at the platform so filled with joy!
Wow! This is really history. That entire scene reminded me of my father taking us to see and hear Harold Washington when he was running for mayor of Chicago. Watching the Obama family wave to the crowd as they rolled on by filled me with emotion.

I wish my parents were here to share this moment with me. They would be so proud. I know they can see it. This is just so amazing. I really did think I could make it until Tuesday without crying but this entire morning has just been overwhelming....in a great way!

Here's to President Barack Hussein Obama! He will do great things for this country! I'm sure of it!

Congratulations DU'ers! We're getting our country back!

1. And all of us watching from home too!
I have to take a deep breath periodically.

It *is* history! And we're here to watch it!

God I love this.

3. Me too. I can't even explain it. I was probably really rambling in
this post. I sat here and waved at the tv. and cried and clapped. I love this too!

2. I felt exactly the same way and so happy for my fellow Americans who
were actually there. I loved the yelling, applauding and the Obama family waving to everyone. A memory to live forever...

12. It was as they drove thru another stop...
The depot was full of people and the train slowed way down so everybody could wave. Obama was in the last car, waving out the back. Sorry I can't remember the name of the town.
