ABC's "The Note"
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/politics/TheNote/TheNote.html

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I've only read it occasionally, but it appears to me that the authors have it in for Kerry. I don't know whether it's a lazy/angry bias (and Kerry is there to pick on) or if they are slanted towards Bush.

Or am I completely missing the boat on them?

1. I'll pass. I've heard enough lies.
Thanks for bringing it though, some here are gluttons for punishment.

6. They're trying to cover themselves
They wrote back in July that the race was Kerry's to lose (and caught some flak) and now they're desperately trying to cover themselves by overcompensating... they'll get over it soon

3. Something happened last year to ABC. I believe
it has to do with Michael Eisner and his close call with getting pushed out of his job. I believe he made a deal with BushInc to keep his job a few more years.

Their coverage this past year has been downright FOXlike.

4. They're as fair and balanced as FOX, but a little more clever
in how they go about things.

5. Way too unserious a site
I've looked at that site occasionally over the last year (ok, rarely), but it always strikes me as incredibly unserious for something as important as the Presidential election.

Not worth reading.

7. Bush has ABC and we have CBS and Dan Rather
That's a fair trade.

11. Did you read the post I responded to?
I was agreeing that ABC is in the tank with Bush. What is scatological about that?

8. I read it daily until early last year
and things seemed to change dramatically. I thought, originally, it was fairly balanced. I disagreed with some stuff, but was encouraged by others. About war time it went all to hell. I don't know if I still get it delivered - if I do I guess I've got it spammed filtered - its worthless and still poses that it is bi-partisan.

16. Yes, I have found that they
and all of ABC News actually, lean slightly to the right. Bush bias.

CBS has a Kerry bias.

NBC, I don't know.
