So, Is Jeb Bush Next in Line?
I think that was kind of what was planned.

Now, that would really suck!

6. That's what I said in 1999
After the mess Poppy left this country in, not even the Republicans would be dumb enough to run another Bush. And nobody in their right mind would vote for him.

And that was before I realized he was a MORON.

Fact is that the BCE *Is* the Republican party. They have been running the show since the Eisenhower administration, and until the sane Republicans (if there are any left) throw them out, they will continue to run BCE candidates.

2. some think bill frist is next in line. see, w. is such a class act
he wants to make sure he's the only second generation bush to inhabit the oval office. so he's going to cut nip in the bud any attempts by jebbie to follow him. not that he's insecure and afraid his little brother might outshine him in the anals of history.

that's one set of speculations, at least.

15. I think you meant:
"not that he's insecure and afraid his little brother might outshine him in the ANUS of history."

Sorry, I couldn't resist! :D

5. Nope ... wife & daughter problems
Wife doesn't think US Customs laws apply to her and daughter has major drug problems Might see him as Senator - Bush v. Nelson in 2006, but not as President.

9. mccain thinks he's made a deal to have jeb stand down
that's why he backed bush up at the con.

when the BFEE stabs him in the back in 2008 & runs jeb, i don't think many liberals or 'moderates' will rush to his aid.

noelle in 2016!

10. No there would be too strong of a smell
of monarchy if Jeb were to run. Doesn't mean he won't run, just that I don't think he would win (not even the GOP nomination). Americans don't like monarchy.

12. Yes. I've read that's the plan. An entire dynasty of Bushes to come.
Edited on Mon Sep-13-04 04:15 PM by TexasSissy
Then there's the young Preston Bush (is that his name?), after Jeb reigns for 8 years, and on and on and on and on.

We might as well change our names to Saudi names. Anyone know where I can buy a barka before they get expensive (I anticipate not having expendable income, when the time comes).

14. George P. Bush will be the next
mark my words.

Give him 20 years and he'll be running as the "Ricky Martin Bush".
