I can't wait until Friday: Freeper mega hate on toward the SCOTUS
On Friday the SCOTUS will put an end to the birth certificate nonsense. There is virtually NO chance that they will grant certiorari on the Donofrio case they're discussing in Conference. Freepers believe that Thomas, Alito, Scalia and Roberts will grant it. They won't and Freepers will turn all their considerable hate and derangement on the four Justices that they so adore.

It's going to be a scene there.

1. They'll blame the other justices.
Ginsburg and Souter seduced them with liberal ideas.

2. McCain is a US citizen only by legislation passed into law 17 years after he was born.
For the first 17 years of his life, he was a natural-born Panamanian citizen. The US Constitution did not recognize him as a US citizen. Congress acted in 1953 (not for his sake, mind you, but for an overall problem of the day for US citizens abroad bearing children). They didn't decide that the Panama Canal Zone was legally US soil, they determined only that children born of US citizens are US citizens themselves (otherwise, anyplace where such children were born would have to be declared US soil and THAT wasn't going to happen). So by this, even IF Obama was born in Kenya or Indonesia or Whereverthefuckistan, he'd be no more or less a US citizen than McCain (and thus no more or less a legitimate candidate for the presidency) as they'd both be US citizens by the same legislation from 1953. Of course, the reality is that Obama WAS born on US soil (thus making him natural-born) and McCain was NOT (since the Panama Canal Zone was not US soil).

I love pissing off right-wingers off with this. :)

3. They did change the law to help Mccain, they knew he
would be running for president later in his life so they had to change the law. Just like John Kerry knew he was going to run for President so he volunteered to go to Nam and risk his life and earn 3 purple hearts and silver star, because 30 years later he would run for President.

4. Thanks for clearing that up. I always thought Kerry was sneaky like that.
I used to work with someone who really hated Kerry because she didn't like his hair.
I often wonder what she didn't like about Obama.....

5. You're wrong. They knew he'd pick Sarah Palin and that she'd be the face of the GOP in 2012.
You betcha.

7. Sarah Palin knew she would be running for VP one day....
...and would need some solid foreign policy experience. So.....she moved her family to Alaska, sandwiched between two foreign countries.

6. I hope your right. This kept me up all night
Especially after reading that there will be 20,000 U.S. troops available to be deployed within the U.S. for "homeland security". I found the timing of this news release a bit suspect. I kept thinking, OMG! What if The Supreme Court rules that Obama is not eligible to be president. There will be mass rioting, especially in the black communities in every major city. I know I'm being paranoid. But I'm still worried.

8. Nothing to be worried about...
it was never an issue, it was all about Grandstanding via BS argumentation.

I believe Obama will get at least one USSC justice on the Court, perhaps two, things have a way of working out and Scalia, Thomas and their ilk will be seeing a decreas in theirinfluence..oh wait, Thomas doesn't have any influence...;)
