My email to Senate Majority Leader Reid regarding Senator Lieberman.
http://reid.senate.gov/

Dear Senate Majority Leader Reid,

I am writing to you because, while I am not a Nevadan, I am affected
by your decisions as Majority Leader of the Democratic Party.

I understand that you have a grave decision to make about " Joe the
Senator" of Connecticut, and I understand politics, but how can the
Democratic party maintain its dignity and self respect if this
Senator, who is a party of one, gave his smiling, clapping, covert and
overt (by speaking at the RNC) consent, to one of the most hate
filled, vitriolic, dog whistling, despicable *Republican* Presidential
campaigns I've ever lived through or read about? He actively worked
against our President elect and stood by while our opposition worked
their rabid base into a hate filled, death threat lobbing, racist
lather-- And. Did. Nothing.

In addition, "Joe the Senator's" arrogance that only HE can save us
from terrorism, by maintaining his gavel and chairmanship on the
Homeland Security committee is the pinnacle of hubris, worthy of an
unqualified Bush appointee.

You cannot consider rewarding this man of the rabid dog whistling
opposition with such a powerful gavel. Senator Lieberman is loyal to
Senator Lieberman and his own self indulgence, so it is not lost on me
that he is a party of one.

While I understand that we have not reached the 60 seat filibuster
proof majority, rewarding Sen. Lieberman for his despicable behavior
is a serious mistake and a humiliation for the Democratic Party. Norm
Coleman was once a Democrat as well, what chairmanship gavel would you
consider him for?

3. Excellent
It's not a matter of vindictiveness. The man has shown his stripes and CANNOT be trusted.
