Ad buy for battleground states revised?
Not to add to the general hysteria but...

Last night NBC Evening News reported that someone--- either the Kerry Campaign or the DNC--- was revising their ad buy indicating that they thought the number of battleground states has shrunk from 17 to 10.

I've googled but can't find any articles confirming this. I've searched the excreable MSNBC site and can't find any confirmation.

Can anyone help?

PS I've never been able to view the Carville "beat down" of Tucker Eskew from the Today Show. Apparently MSNBC spends a lot of money on their site but doesn't really care if a lot of people can use it.

1. I heard this AM that Kerry's bought time in VA for october
which the campaign had decided not to do in august. Since gb is only 3% ahead, we're back in play!

2. Couldn't that be construed two ways??
About this time decisions are made to save precious resources. Therefore, there could be states where they have thrown in the towel and others that they think are going to turn out for them without having to shovel more money and time into.

3. Agreed. Kerry's position in many states has improved.
Iowa, my state, is going to go Kerry so why waste money here. Send it to Wisconsin.
