What I think the problem is!

We are spending too much time fretting over the news, picking apart Kerry when the media is doing a fine job of that without our help, obsessing over the polls and planning our escape route if Bush wins!!!

What are you doing to help Kerry??? How many committee meetings have you gone to, how many signs have you put up, how many phone calls have you made, how many letters to the editor are you writing??? I spend two hours on the phone every night...yes, dinner time...calling people in rural Virginia. I park myself in front of the local grocery store on Saturday with a table, bumperstickers, pamphlet...again in rural Virginia You can use your free weekend cell phone minutes to spend the whole weekend calling people in battleground states. Personal phone calls are the most effective thing you can do.

Go to the Kerry website and find out what you can do. Then unplug the TV and the computer and GET TO WORK!

I'm baking cookies right now. They will be individually wrapped, with my homemade Kerry sticker on them, to hand out at my table on Saturday. A smile and a cookie go a long way in helping Kerry look like a nice guy!
