You know what the problem is?
We are ! You cannot find two Kerry supporters generally, on the same page. How do you expect the man to run a good campaign with the likes of idealistic Utopia folks wanting this and others wanting that. I will give this to the criminal republicans...They stand by their man no matter what ! Arnold was not the base but he had an R by his name and they flocked to him. Dreamers. The folks for Nader are nothing more than dreamers who live in a world as fantasy like as Bush. Bush sees a world of War and Naderites see a world of Peace. There is neither. We will always have conflict but who leads us into a better tomorrow is not Bush or Nader. IF we are the base and we are supposed to be, then we can hold people accountable.
I am sick and tired of the handwringing and the Oh my I will just drop out. The nay sayers of Kerry is gonna lose. We can't fight Rove's machine. This is just BS ! Get behind the man ! Stand up or shut up ! If I make you angry, I mean to. If we lose, it won't be Kerry's fault, it won't be anyone fault but our own for not doing all we could to take back the media and take back democracy. How silly for some to say that 4 years will be our time. Are you crazy? We can't take another four years? Its now or never. Wake up People..Unify ! We got fifty some odd days to dwell in this place called America. Are you gonna kick Bush out or are you making plans to live in a world you could only imagine was a nightmare?

Things are supposed to be better in an election year? Have they been? Third party dreamers? What the Hell are you thinking? What has Nader done other than take money from the GOP? He is an ego loving, self absorbed foolish old man. I would vote Buchannan before I would vote Nader. I am angry this morning because I see too much whining and not enough doing ! Wana flame me..Go ahead. I'm tired and still fighting ! What are you nay sayers doing ?

4. I'm behind him and I'm not giving up
There is NO way W can be permitted to win this election.

I was lukewarm about Kerry at first, but as I have listened to him and seen his measured response to things, I think that he will be a thoughtful and wise president, something that we have certainly not seen in the last couple of years.

You are right though, we need to stand behind him as a group, realizing that although some of our priorities may differ from person to person or faction to faction, in the end, our goal, the defeat of the pretender is the vital string that ties us all together.

We are fighting for the very survival of our country and getting W out of office is the first item on the agenda.

I admit to feeling frustrated some days, wishing that the media were less biased toward W and his cohort, wishing that the Kerry campaign would fight back a little more, but in the end, I believe that we must win and we will win.

There is no other choice.

We have to prevail.

5. Thank you, vetwife!
You see the forest without getting distracted by all of the individual trees!

If we don't win, we can't begin to clean up the freak monkey's mess, can we?

10. I'm critical of Kerry and still support his candidacy
I don't see the two as mutually exclusive.

But your point is well taken.

Still, I think many "nay sayers" are shell-shocked by the past four years of the Busheviks in power. Some may be whiners who need a kick in the butt to get them in action, but in general I question posts that take a "Gen. Patton" approach to war-weary troops (i.e., slapping them around).

11. Please don't question mine. People need to wake up..
If I did not volunteer for just about everything. If I was not in the trenches of the ADA, civil Rights, appearing on Tv and Talk radio, writing letters, calling congressman, taking on a battle daily with the Veterans Administration, and putting out CD 's and registering voters, I could sit silent but I am not Patton and don't like to appear to be slapping the troops but the truth is the troops need to realize the opposition strategy. In 2000 I sat in the Ronald Reagan building in D.C. on a Gore strategy meeting and watched from the inside how the opposition wins..by turning the progressives on each other and their candidate. I was there In July and I saw the players and what defeatism can do to a campaign.
