2. I do and don't agree
Siegelman's conviction must be overturned. A pardon implies guilt. He must be cleared and he will be. But on the second point, yes, I think it is great idea to make him US Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama. And Paul Minor for MS:)

14. because
it is not an exoneration, but simply a pardon of a person convicted... he needs to be exonerated, not pardoned.

17. A pardon neither presumes guilt or innocence. I believe pardon can be awarded before a trial. nm

3. Great idea!!
While he's at it, reinstate others, like Richard Clarke and General Shinseki, who were harmed and unfairly treated by this criminal administration. Right the wrong and hold KKKarl Rove in contempt; either that, or send him to jail where he belongs! Fat fuck!

4. I'm for that. But, I'd rather see his conviction overturned rather
than a pardon, and I think that will happen. However, making him the US Attorney for that district would be sweet.

9. The appeal will be heard in December.

5. Agreed, Don Siegelman should be pardoned
The charges were political and trumped up, he was framed.

He probably won the election against Riley, GOP stole it in Baldwin County:

16. A pardon won't get his bar association card back...
nor necessarily will his overturning his conviction.

18. Absolutely!!
Brilliant idea, and let's not forget Prison Reform as well.. Purge the legal system, throw out some Judges, correct the Voting machine fraud, Jail Riley AND his Son..

I was a victim of the wicked corruption of Baldwin County a few years back, Rove has Directly ruined a portion on my life with his Right wing Supreme court judges and the one that harrassed me to no end, installed by the Christian Right along with Abramoff money - and I want to see some people go DOWN in that state - Legally of course and with all due process..

I have just the guy to assist Don in fixing the prison scene.. Check out The Human Kindness Foundation, a book by Bo Lazoff, "We're All Doing Time"...

Rolling Stone calls it one of the Top Ten books you should read in your life..

Let's keep this Seigelman pardon Meme Going!
