F**CK the election post-mortem I am ready to get to work on the Triage

I made a vow last night when I was standing in Millennium Park that I would come out of my 8-year cynical, lazy stupor to work HARD for this country.

I don't fucking care about what Ms. Palin has to say. Why are DU'ers wasting their time on that 15-minute piece of Wonder Bread?

I don't care about what right-wingnuts are bitching about. They have been cut off at their knees.

I want to hear DU'ers who have tangible ideas that they sincerely believe will be heard in this new administration. I'm done with the hating. Let's roll up our sleeves and GET TO WORK. Four years will go by REALLY fast.

My initial "Triage" measures include(I know many have been well-researched, but we need to call them out):

- Full investigation of all violations to the Constitution of the United States from 2000 to 2008.

- Full investigation of treasonous acts on the part of the Bush Administration (I hope Obama doesn't put Powell in a seat because Colin needs to be held responsible)

- Delay of Bush's evisceration of the Endangered Species Act...let the proposed changes sit until after Jan 20 2009

I believe where I chose to put my focus is important...

Today my focus is on how sweet and wonderful this victory feels.
