6. Where do we begin?
DUers are generally hard to please and are sometimes short sighted.

30. Hey, just for fun...
...everytime Obama makes any sort of decision throughout the course of his presidency, let's all post statements like, "Fuck ___________. I just threw up!"

All of us, each and every time, okay?

2. How ... radical of him.
I told my Republican brother Obama was moderate and not what the Right Wing media was making him out to be. But would he listen? Noooo.

7. If president Obama wants to get his policies through Congress....
he needs someone in there who has no fear and is a fighter. You may not like or even respect Emanuel, but I trust Obama's choices. Obama is a much smarter person than any of us and knows the people to choose to get the job done. It has been less than 24 hours since PRESIDENT Obama was elected and already you are doubting Obama's choices. Let us wait and see what Emanuel can do before we start judging him based on our own biases. GEEZ, people!!! Give it a rest already!

8. did Contessa Brewer/Joe Scarborough get the same memo?
"Is this too partisan...wrong message to be sending?" WTF, did they expect him to announce a Republican right off the bat? That's going to be the meme I'm sure.

18. Nobody ever said anything about pandering to the repubs..
I guess they expected as much after they got their asses handed to them yesterday? Wow, they just will never get it.

Does Rahm piss them off? GOOD!

9. A lot of you may not like Emanuel...
But he's a fucking pitbull. If Obama is going to make change, he's gonna need real fighters around him. Emanuel is perfect for the job.

20. I really don't care for Emmanuel. I believe he is a conservative corporatist Dem.
I believe he is connected to the DLC, and his background his with Citibank (one of our failing banking institutions).

14. Good choice.
The dude knows Washington inside and out. And since I'm not crazy about his policy positions, it also prevents him from taking Obama's Senate seat.
