Immediate Concern: Russia
Russian president today announced that they will be deploying missiles between Poland and Lithuania, both of which are NATO members.

Medvedev also said that Russia would jam the US anti-missile system electronically.

These are extremely provocative moves by Russia. :scared:

1. They are putting them onto Russian territory...
Hawks will cry about this. I see it as a "doable" show of military might for a shakey country trying to regain its former glory.

3. OMFG who cares where Russia puts
missles on it own territory. Russia is not an enemy of the United States as much as the neocons would like them to be.

8. It is Russia's right to have weapons

be they nuclear, anti-missle or anti-anti-missle. They won't jam anything if there is not conflict. But you sure seem intent on stirring something up. Are you for a pre-emptive strike on Russia?
