Obama Signs Appearing - And McCain Signs Disappearing?
I use a new term to refer to a high rate of speed: "faster than a McPalin sign disappearing".

My neighbor snuck out under the cover of darkness last night and removed McPalin sign in shame.

But what surprised me more is that in my neighborhood, 4 OBAMA signs have shown up! People clearly had them but were too fearful to display them prior to the election.

While I am pleased about the Obama signs, I'm sad that they didn't display them earlier. It would have been nice to feel I wasn't quite so alone.

1. I brought
my Obama sign in because I wanted to make sure no one stole it! I am going to save it.

2. I just took mine in too. I wanted to leave them out longer but I was concerned they would disappear.

6. I brought mine in also.
We have a corner lot and I had it facing the busier street....it's also a street that a lot of people walk and bike on. I didn't want it stolen or damaged. It's a keepsake now.

3. I have a little story from this am..
I have been in a mixed neighborhood, a few Obama signs, a few McCain signs. Two of my closest neighbors had McCain signs in their yards. They came up a month or so after my Obama yard sign did.

Today was also trash day in my neighborhood.

I stepped out of my front door at 6:30am today with my 4 year old, heading to school and work. I noticed at the end of my driveway, a wadded up McCain/Palin yard sign. My first thought was, "wow, how rude, sore loser or something?". Then, I looked across the street and seen that my neighbors trash had been blown all over the place due to wind. His cans were flipped over and his bags were out in the street strung out. So, they must have pulled the McCain/Palin sign late last night or this AM when they put out their trash. It was ironic how it ended up wadded up in my driveway.

God bless America.

I made a point of looking at the back of his Explorer when I pulled into the parking lot, and it was GONE!!!!

7. Our neighbors' McCain sign is gone!

:bounce:

I haven't been out yet to take an inventory of our very right-leaning neighborhood here in North Texas, but I'm interested to see.

Our Obama sign is in the window, not in the yard. We had one from the primaries on a center stake, and everytime we had bad weather, the wind ripped it off. We finally gave up to weeks ago trying to resecure it and just stuck it in a front window.
