Vast left wing conspiracies
Most of my right wing acquaintences sense a big Democratic tsunami headed at them. It is interesting the reasons I've heard them give for this:

1. The press is controlled by liberals and socialists that want to take over the US.
2. Canada and Mexico are trying to make one country in North America, and are succeeding.
3. Satan wants the sacrifice of babies to continue (via abortion).
4. Obama has been funded by Muslims, terrorists, and liberals (not much difference there), which explains why he has so much more money than McCain. If it weren't for these terrible people, Obama would have far less money than McCain to spend. The press is purposely hiding these huge donations from these terrible people, claiming most of the donations come from small donors.

Several people I know have attended weekend-long prayer vigils, spilling into Monday and today, to keep Satan out of the White House. They are hoping for some sort of miracle, including any type of election fraud, to keep the demonic Democrats out of power. After all, our eternal souls are at stake!

What I can't quite figure out is that the fundies WANT the end to come soon, which means that times will have to get really bad, which means that Obama should get elected. But most of them don't want Obama. So -- they don't want the end times to come? Oh, yes they do! So they should root for Obama, because he's so "evil" (sarcasm). But they don't. I can't figure it out...

3. With fundies it's really that they want the rapture but first they must have all the wealth they
can get before they are raptured out, after all, they are assured that they can take their wealth with them to by a nicer plot in heaven. So most of them are still gathering as they wait and don't want no spread the wealth liberal taking the money they need for Gold ave off from Jesus lane, they hope to see Jesus nude sun bathing from their upstairs window.
