Just spoke to my 90 yr old mother in Florida.
I've been worrying about her vote. She was a little shaky about Obama, & I was afraid that the long lines in Florida would scare her away from the polls, or she wouldn't be able to handle the long wait in line at her age. I was even prepared to ask for help from DU if she had trouble voting.

Well, I just got off the phone. She was very perky. Said she voted a few days ago, no problem, no line. Figures. She lives in Repub Sarasota county. Just amazing. I'm happy she had such an easy time of it, but really frustrated as I watch all the stories about long voting lines across the rest of the state.
