And, if they continue and build during the day, will everyone get a chance to vote?

1. In our state, as long as there are people in line, the polls stay open.
And, no, they're not all voting for Obama. But a majority will.

6. It was a stupid question! What I meant was: is the additional turnout
producing the lines a good sign for us?

12. I think it's good. Republicans typically turn in out in higher numbers
so I expect to see them. It's the youth and African American vote that this hinges on, and they were there in line in numbers I haven't seen at my polling place before.

5. The polls will have to stay open as long as people are in line
but of course they are not ALL for our guy, let's hope most are though.

7. The GOP deals in voter suppression (repression?)
Large turnouts/long lines with people staying with it until they cast their vote is a Repug nightmare.

11. If you were a Republican who didn't much like McCain and hated Palin
Would you get up at the crack of dawn to go vote?

14. Typically high turnout is considered to favor Democrats.
Particularly this year when unlikely voters are overwhelmingly for us.
