Poll question: What time on Tuesday night will you be celebrating?
I'm breaking out the drinks and other celebratory elements at 9:30, when the upper midwest gets called early, Virginia gets called for Obama, and Pennsylvania doesn't look like its been completely stolen.

1. When Virginia is called for Obama, the election is OVER!
I promise.

3. Yep - with Virginia, McCain has to completely run the table -
Including Iowa, Colorado, New Mexico, Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Nevada, Missouri, & North Carolina

That is, unless they take Pennsylvania somehow (which scares the shit out of me- no early voting, excuse to explain "surprise" results (bradley effect, racism, etc...).

Even with PA, though, it will be practically impossible for McCain without Virginia, as he would need each of Ohio, FLorida, No Carolina, and Indiana, plus one of either Iowa, New Mexico, Colorado, or Nevada.

2. I have one bottle of champagne ready for when the call it for Obama and....
...another when they call it for Franken and there are 9 more senate seats for the dems!

That is my election night!

Good luck to all dems running - may the votes be with them!

4. Here's hoping I get a long time to follow the McConnell - Lunsford race
here in my hometown - I'm worried it may get called earlier than we hope.

5. I'll start celebrating on Tuesday as soon as
it's not too early in the day to drink.

Anyone know what time that would be? 10:00am? 11:00am?

7. None of the above. I plan to start 'celebrating' around 6:00 and plan to be
comatose by 9:00 pm.

I want to wake up on Wednesday morning and find out what happened. For all I talk about being optimistic, I am going to be a basket case on Tuesday. I don't think I can take this election remotely sober.
