I live in Broward County Florida.

This is an example of why I think ALL pollsters will be wrong, Obama is going to win BIG, much larger margin than they anticipate.

I did a bunch of voter registrations leading up to now...Then somehow we combined efforts with other folks who work in the health care industry, all of us understood that we need to strengthen Medicare and never allow them to privatize it. All our clients are seniors, the best care they get is from Medicare. My counterparts were also registering new voters. Many of these voters mailed in their ballots. But few did not get them at all due to high demand at the local offices, I kept calling, but they always said that they won't be able to hire enough people to handle this, never anticipated this kind of volume of new registrations.

Today was our last day of early voting in Florida...Standing in line for these folks was never going to be an option.

My wife, my six year old daughter, and I left in the early morning to pick them up and take them to vote. These are folks who have been considered too old to vote, they have been living in the assisted living communities for many years, walkers to get around, wheelchairs...Disoriented at times...Get nervous around other people...etc. So they have dropped out of the voters roles many years ago. But not this year, not this time :)

They all had their new voter registration cards, I had to lift one older lady to put her in the front seat of my car, I drove my car on the sidewalk to lift her out of the car and into her chair to wheel her in. One of them had to be helped out by a couple of people to walk into the building....etc. They were all Obama voters of course - I had the best conversations with them on the way there and back, a man who served in the army, two of them were veterans...Two ladies were Jewish. One lady was 93, another was 94...etc.

They all love Obama! Probably most importantly, these are voters who are not in anyone likely voters models...In a way, noone know they even existed. As an added bonus: the AA worker who came with us to help out, also voted, she told me she had voted only twice in her whole life many years ago.

I can tell you this kind of activity is going on everywhere in America...My wife and I had never ever been involved like this.

Broward County Florida is the largest Democratic County in Florida...We need to deliver BIG to provide the margin needed to turn Florida BLUE. I can tell you the waits have been anywhere between 2 and 6 hours here at all voting locations, we had 17 early voting locations - Lines were constant every single day, every single hour. Again, this is a heavy Democratic county, heavy AA, very liberal...etc.

I think by the end of tonight, 50% of Florida would have voted. Overall, I think we will be happy with the results.
