Hey Young Dem People in Florida...Listen Up !
I understand you're not getting out to vote.

Well...

You can stand in line for a few hours this weekend and do what you set out to do and vote for Barack.....or....you can march in a line across the frozen tundra of Russia, when that
screwball Sarah Palin sends you to fight and die in the "Last Crusade" a few years down the road!

This ain't no fucking party this time !.....this ain't no fucking foolin around!!!!

Get off your fat asses and VOTE !

1. better idea. Camp out Monday night. When the few McCain people try to get in line they'll be discour
discouraged by the huge lines of young people who are voting for Obama and go home. Then you can vote AND help keep some repukes from voting too.

8. This is incredible!
"....discouraged by the huge lines of young people who are voting for Obama and go home. Then you can vote AND help keep some repukes from voting too."

You can't be serious? You're okay with preventing fellow Americans from voting? What's different between you and the very people you're trying to oust from power?

That's pretty awful and I'm embarrased to be an Obama supporter.

9. discouraging is not preventing. If they want to wait a few more hours..
behind those who got up the night before to wait, then they will vote as well.

Don't you?

What your advocating can work against us just as easy.

17. I'd prefer more Obama supporters show up
people are free to vote how they wish, but I hope that McCain's people dont WANT to.
That is kinda the strategy of the whole "campaign thing"

Or haven't you been listening to him?

13. It'll be Tuesday for me.. they haven't made early voting easy for me.
The cut down the number of voting places.. and it really is a hassle.. and on election day, I breaze thru.. there are just many more precincts open.

18. Please, with my schedule and running after a kid and dragging a southern
turned dem hubby to the polls to stand in line out of our gas budget isn't a picnic. So, I do all the research, pre-fill a sample ballot, vote first while hubby stands with 3yr old, then I hand off the test answers to him, and I hold the 3yr old's hand.. old ladies smile and think he's cute.. then he wears about 10 I voted stickers out and hands them off to people all day long... until I find at least one on a piece of furniture or stuck in his hair.. He will be off school that day.. to me it's a holiday and we celebrate. I'm almost out of that young person cat. now.. edging onto 30 this summer... but I have voted since 18 and always went with my parents to vote and went to town halls when the town came together to vote.

21. Oh, for fuck's sake.
Many students vote absentee or are waiting for Election Day itself.

Considering the 18-29 demographic was the only age group to go for Kerry in 2004, I'd consider berating people above 30 if I were you. :eyes:

23. Florida is at 44% of 2004 total tunout according to
http://elections.gmu.edu/early_vote_2008.html. Using the data there and http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x2882.xml?ReleaseID=1224">Quinnipiac's latest internals I would estimate Obama has built a buffer of ~350,000 votes. If young people do come out it will be very hard for McCain to win.
