The Plot Against Obama Is a Strategy....

I think......it is a Roverian strategy to shake up the fear factor in electing Barak Obama....yes there are some people who would change their minds if in anyway convinced that he may not finish his first term.....

Even though this threat is real it has been sponsored by some element that will do anything to derail us from rational thought...I believe that someone like ROVE is behind this.

1. I'm curious as to why the court records about this were "unsealed" today--
why not keep this crap quiet until after the election? Who knew about this, when were these assholes arrested?

4. I don't. There are stupid, bigoted people out there. We know that.
Would they risk going to prison for Rove? Not everything is a rovian plot.

8. Er no I don't think this helps McCain at all.
It will in fact disgust lots more independent undecided voters who will make the connection between the hate speech coming out of McCain/Palin and this incident, switch some wavering independent McCain supporters, and discourage traditional republican voters, all for the same reason. Concurrently it will strengthen Obama's support.

This is not a rovian plot. I posted exactly that idea as A JOKE in another thread.

And Republicans complain about Rev. Wright saying: "US of KKK" and this stuff comes out. Just makes Republicans look retarded, not Obama dangerous.

10. First... It's Barack, not "Barak"
Second... It's Rovian, not "Roverian"

And third... :banghead:

11. I agree. It fits with their assumptions about the stupidity of the electorate
It goes way beyond thinking that people are simply unsophisticated, they think they vote for reasons that are just downright idiotic and are primarily motivated by fear. Every single goddamn gimmick they have tried in this campaign is a testament to that. Maybe in some polling or focus groups they found a chunk of voters who said they liked Obaba but worried about his saftey. A way to turn his likability against him.

I don't put anything past these fuckers. They have politicized every corner of the executive branch. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.

13. bullshit. these guys acted as the sad humans they are
and has nothing to do with election strategy. if anything, it will push more undecided's into Obama's camp in the "WE WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED" vote coming out like a Hurricane Katrina to wipe out the republican city of revelry, death, and dishonesty.

14. To tell you the truth
I don't look for Rove to do McCain any favors with the way McCain has been throwing Rove's buddy Bush under the bus.

16. Respectfully disagree.
There have been far more plots that have been disrupted by the Secret Service and police agencies than the public is aware of. They have not been limited to targeting Obama in 2008. The federal agencies and state police have been doing a good job, which hopefully remains largely unknown to the public.
