McCain sounding more like Lionel Barrymore everyday
Thinking of the SNL version of "It's a Wonderful Life". The Jimmy Stewart character (Dana Carvey) figures out who had the money and kicks the crap out of the old geezer. Kind of my vision for Nov 4.

1. Don't insult Drew's great granddaddy!
Insult the Mr. Potter character: that had Cheney written all over him.

2. To me he's a cross between Mr. Potter and Buck Turgidson from Dr. Strangelove
He's got that creepy geezer's voice, but he's also like that mentally unstable US Air Force general in Dr. Strangelove (George C. Scott) who orders a first strike nuclear attack on the Soviet Union.

4. Buck was the opportunist at the Pentagon
Jack D. Ripper, played by Sterling Hayden, was the over-the-top nut case that forced the attack.

Agree that McCain reminds me of so many stereotypical louses from our collective past.
