Whispers in Connecticut. What to do with LIEBERMAN?
Several of my friends in Democratic headquarters in Waterbury, Stamford and Hartford are whispering about the EPIC FAIL of Joe Lieberman, especially his high treason of going to the Republican convention to speak ill of Barack Obama. We do not have any love for Lieberman and he is going to be useless to our party as a 60-vote Senate majority os possible. But, what can we do with this loser in Connecticut. He clearly is no longer representing us.

1. Joe is a large mole on a Human Cheek...it must be removed.
He has Stained himself no end...an embarrassment.

Joe has revealed his selfcenteredness and his lust for attention. He has sold himself to the Devil and will go down in History as a LOSER....

He did Wrong when he thought he could get away with it....now he has to pay that price...of repudiation/rejection...he is a hollow man.

in 2012.

7. I did NOT vote him in.
He got voted in due in large part to Republican support.

I'd like to ship him off to Alaska with Sarah.

I would love to have two Senators represent me, not just one.

17. He couldn't have been elected if a lot of Democrats hadn't defected
so again, you're stuck with him until January 3, 2013 at the earliest.

5. Gang, Holy Joe is coming back to the Democrats
he is going to be a quiet Yes vote on everything except War on Terror issues and the Middle East. His last statements in "support" of McCain tell me he is going to betray his betrayal. Whatever. As long as he isn't given anything by Reid, I can ignore him.

6. We may need him to get to 60 votes!
He's in the Senate for a few more years like it or not, so we might as well use him to beat the Republicans when we can.

15. If he really is needed to get to 60 votes, then I think we may need to hold our noses and keep him.
If we get there without him, or we somehow do not win enough seats to make this an issue (but still control the Senate), then let's just toss him.

9. that's my threshold. he should be given no chairmanships or
powerful committee posts. I want them to crap on Lieberman for his blatant disloyalty. If they don't send a message, what will happen in the future when guys leave the fold?

21. I think they should play hardball with the dipshit
Give him until Wednesday to renounce his actions over the past year and endorse Obama. If not throw his ass out of the party and work on another Senator to become and Indie.

Leave him out their naked, shriveled and shaking.

Conneticut for Lieberbman which he created to get on the ballot (and which he never officially joined) was very upset at him endorsing McCain and that they would not support him for re election lol.

Then fire him the day after he resigns his seat in the Senate.

34. Rumor has it he will be dumped from all his commitee chair positions in January.
In fact, he should be kicked out of the party. Treasonous rat bastard - joining the likes of Zell Miller. Of course, his right to drink the koolaid, but he lost the right to work within the party.

IMO, he should go ahead and own his cowardly behavior - become a puke and become part of the minority opposition. Yet - the pukes don't want him either.
