Ms. Palin thinks earmark money goes to Paris - that's in France - research firms?

While her blatantly clueless remarks attacking federal funding for fruit fly research in her special needs speech was noted in the news shows tonight, they overlooked another glaring part of the comment. She said "funding for things like fruit fly research in Paris, France! I kid you not!"

(Fruit fly research is a standard genetic research tool because they reproduce so rapidly and have short lifespans)

This is funny, in a way, but so sad.

Last time I checked UNC was not in France. I wish. I live here.
