OK. I Admit It. I Flipped Off The "Yes On Prop 8" Protestors Yesterday
Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 05:48 PM by stopbush
I was driving home last night, counting the Obama bumper stickers (outnumbered McCain about 10 to 1) when I got to the stoplight a mile from home. There was a 10-person "Yes on 8" rally going on on the corner. They had a HUGE sign as well.

During the drive, I had maneuvered my way through traffic to pull the old slow drive in front of an SUV that had two McCain stickers on its butt with a "Yes on 8" sticker squarely in the middle of the back window. Thought the driver might enjoy looking at my Obama/Biden sticker on the bumper of my Beetle for a few miles.

Anyway, we got to the corner mentioned, and the McCain/Yes on 8 guy behind me starts honking in support of the rally. As the bigots looked our way, my arm made its way up through the sunroof and my middle finger extended itself.

Didn't want to do it. Felt I owed it to them.

Was that wrong?

;)

3. If I was in the same situation, I might not be able to help myself either...
unless they had eggs on hand.

Sometimes I get an urge to pee on the yes on 8 yard signs. But the greater good is in mind.

7. The Yes on 8 signs are yellow. Peeing on them doesn't work so good.

14. It'll just keep people from noticing I peed on them
Until they have to touch it. Or walk by it.

5. Wrong? No way.
Won't convince them, but I bet it made you feel better.

Was this on the corner of Ventura and Laurel Canyon in L.A.? There are often a bunch of whackos camped out there.

6. Ya Know What?
Good for you... your human. A middle finger never hurt anybody... unless you use to poke someone.

9. I passed at least a 30 person NO on 8 rally on my way home last night
Honked and gave them the thumbs up my whole way past.

The sound of the cheers in response made my night - wish I would have had the time to stop and join them!

And this is a very conservative area in El Dorado county.

stay in the parking lot a little that day. My polling district is fundy rich but
no McCain signs but some yes on 8 signs.

I hope it fails Nov. 4th.
