PALIN'S ALASKAN Wardrobe Review (Picture Heavy!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Listed below is a quick look at what Sarah Palin wore BEFORE the $150,000 Republican "makeover". After looking through her Alaskan wardrobe, the McCain campaign realized that $150,000 was the minimum they'd have to spend to make her look "Vice Presidential".

They had to consider the fact that Gov. Palin would be standing on stage next to Cindy McCain on several occasions, and Ms. McCain spends $150,000 PER OUTFIT. Here is one quick example of what they were up against:

(Cindy's running out for coffee outfit: Suit: $15,000 by Oscar De La Renta, Necklace: $11,000 - from Tiffany's, Makeup: $400 to try to make her look less evil, Hair: $1200 per week to keep the blond on top of the grey, Cosmetic Surgery: $4,000 per month for rotating procedures).

Now, let's look at Sarah Palin's "Before" Pictures:

(White Zipper Columbia Jacket: $79, T-Shirt: $11.99 from Walmart, Big Shiny Red Palin Pin: $1.50, Red Beaded Necklace: free from her last trip to Mardi Gras; Hair: Free, 12 minutes to throw up in a clip before leaving the house)

(Black T-Shirt: $11.99 from Walmart, Blue Sweater: Free, hand made by her mom and given as Christmas Present, Hair: $7 box of Loreal Hair color from Walmart "also", Black Frame Glasses: $99 special from Lenscrafters)

(Grey Sweatshirt: Free from Todd's football days, Red T-Shirt #1: $9.99, Red T-Shirt #2: Free from Palin's "PTA Mom of the Month" award, Fishing Overalls: Free, borrowed from Todd's buddy "Joe the Fisherman", Bandanna: Free, borrowed from Axel Rose during the GnR "Roses on Ice" tour, Hat: Free (found on boat), and Glasses: $9.99 for knock off aviators from gas station on the way to fish

(Black Dress: $44.99 from GAP Alaska, Beige long sleeve T-shirt: Free - borrowed from Todd's Snow Machine Racing wardrobe, White Swatch Watch: $19.99 when originally purchased in 1987, Harley: Free Prop for picture only)

(Same Black Gap Dress: $44.99, Columbia Zipper Jacket in Arctic Alaska Blue: $79, Green Scarf: Free from Piper for her Birthday)

(Red Columbia Jacket: $79 (you can't have to many jackets up in Alaska), Red T-shirt: $11.99, Hair highlights & dye - $150)

(Black Columbia Zipper Jacket: $79, Turquoise Columbia Zipper Jacket: $79, Black T-Shirt: $14 from Old Navy, Knock Off Pearls: $12 from Clair's, Manicure: $30 from Wasilla Nail Shack, Binder full of papers to look "important": $17 assembled by Office Depot)

(Another Columbia Zipper Jacket: $79 from the Wasilla Warming Hole, Same great Black Gap Dress: $44.99, White Summer Sandals: $19.99 from Kohls on sale!)

(Beige Suite with sassy belt: $79.99 from Dress Barn Alaska)

(Black Suit: $129 from Ann Taylor Alaska Loft, Fur Shawl: Free, caught while huntin' with Todd 2 weeks earlier)

(Black Leather Hooker Skirt: $89 on sale from the 5-7-9 Store, Blue satin shirt: $24.99 on sale at Kohls, Black Hooker Heels: $29 off of eBay (FYI - this isn't really Palin's body.. but it's funny)

(Umm.. it appears as though this "outfit" was Free!! The GOP frowns upon showing so much skin, so they certainly had to spend a lot to fix this look)

After reviewing this thread, it's plain to see why the McCain camp had to spend $150,000 on Palin's wardrobe. The looked in her closet and found 27 Columbia Zipper Jackets in an assortment of colors. 43 Scarves in various fabrics, prints and dead animals. A very well worn Black Gap Dress (we're just happy it's not navy blue and seems to be sans any stains). About 17 red T-shirts and 9 black t-shirts. Her jewelry box consisted of 3 pairs of native alaskan tribal earings, 2 bracelets, and a wide assortment of Flag Pins, Polar Bear Pins, and over 100 "Palin for PTA, Palin for Mayor & Palin for Governor" pins.

Upon review, it now appears as though the McCain camp was actually quite frugal in their $150,000 wardrobe purchase for Palin. We will drop this story... we now totally understand.
