9. Even if she is deluded enough
to try to run in 2012, she'll never make it through the primaries. Unless, of course, the Republican Party is even more morally, spiritually, and philosophically bankrupt than it is today.

20. I disagree. When Obama is president, Sarah Palin won't be an opponent.
At least not unless she decides to run in 2012.

But until then, she won't be an opponent, and so Oprah might as well have her on.

Supporters of Obama (at least me) will have a more generous attitude towards Sarah Palin after Obama is inaugurated.

Fox may want to keep her propped up for 2012
So I wouldn't doubt they don't make her some sort of political analyst.

She probably won't be removed from Office however her VP run has earned her probably a primary challenger and if she fights that back a strong democratic challenger who is very well funded with very good campaign cash.

Trust me the democratic party is looking to knock her out of the game before she has time to do an image redo and re-emerge in 2012. If she has 4 years to be coached on answers people may be dumb enough to buy it in 4 years.

No matter what though as the 2nd woman on a major party Presidential Ticket and a fundie nut job she'll be around for years as a martyr to the right wing of the party and will be having books ghost written in her name to sell to the Fundie nut jobs. She's going to walk away from this very rich. The Right Wing will blame everything on McCain and no matter what logic they will say Palin was mismanaged and what not.

21. I'm not even entirely sure she would run for re-election
It may also be that the Republicans ask her to step aside since she embarrassed them so badly as VP candidate. Given she has some ethical problems, she could simply say, "I'm not running for re-election so I can spend more time with my family". This still gives her the chance to be a martyr and write book that will be funded by the right wing wackos saying she was abused.

The outcome of the Stevens trial could effect the whole thing as well, given both are Republicans and in Alaska, it shows a pattern of corruption. If Stevens is convicted, it could screw the Republican Party in Alaska for years to come.

18. She'll be a force in American politics for the next 5-10 years...not a major force
but a force. These asswipes are about to implode and anyone that can command 20-30% of the base vote will be a serious factor. Freepers (who are sadly representative of the Republican base) still love this moronic hockey mom. Hopefully, they will control the Republican party come 2012. I'd love to see Obama/Biden face off against Palin/Huckaby in 2012. Or maybe they'll nominate Joe the plumber...

But in the real world, I believe Republicans will search their souls for a new voice in 2012 and settle on............ta daaaaaa!!!!!

JEB BUSH!!!!!

because thats all they know to do. Since 1928 every winning Republican ticket has had a either a Nixon or a Bush as president or vice president. Jeb is their only hope...
