For reference, detailed results of 2004 election in PA

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/PA/

Overall

Kerry 2,938,095 51%
Bush 2,793,847 49%

In Philadelphia county:

Kerry 542,205
Bush 130,099

Rest of state:

Kerry 2,395,890
Bush 2,663,748

Bottom line: Kerry won Philly by 412,000.... Bush won the rest by 268,000

I think Obama can win Philly by 650,000 this time, with the higher turnout expected

But I also think McCain can win the rest of the state by up to 400,000 - because the rest of the state is a bunch of racist, NRA-member, pro-life, bitter fucks. I live among them.

That's close enough to steal..... or at least challenge in the courts because of ACORN registration drives in Philly area (and the whole state, really).

4. You're really drumming up this nonsense
My hope is that you're trying to energize the campaign workers in PA.

Obama by 8% in PA. And I lived among them for far too long as well.

10. All of my friends are voting Obama.
To put it in perspective I am talking about sportsmen and women almost exclusively. Every one of them is voting Obama. My husband's best friend stated that he can't afford another four years of the same old, same old and either can anyone he knows.

8. Obama will win PA handedly.
Look, we know PA is a hot ass mess in Western PA and with the Diebold machines. BUT, Obama will STILLLLLLL kick McCain's ass there. Obama will SMASH McCain into ground salt in Philly, Montgomery County, and break decently in Allegheny. Plus, Biden is the third senator from PA.

Biden will have his ass parked in PA the last two days of the campaign, I'm sure.
