3. poll makes no sense
if obama is only behind by 2 in a state where bush won by 20+ then obama is ahead nationally by more than 5.

4. Clinton won Georgia in 1992 by a slim margin and only won the popular vote nationnally by 6%.

7. yes but,
how big was bush'a margin in 1988? i looked up georgia's 2004 results and it was 58-41 bush. if obama has made up 15% in a hard right state then he is up by more than 5 nationally.

9. what you are not factoring in is that GA is about 35% AA so that would
account for a big slice of the narrowing of the gap

6. Being 5 up with two weeks to go is not too shabby!

It seems Obama's national lead decreased a bit from a week ago, but he's holding up in the states that matter.
