This is what is on the front page of AOL when you sign in...... just came up about 20 minutes ago.

'Mystery' Man Lends Support to Obama

http://news.aol.com/elections/article/mystery-man-lends-support-to-obama/217846?icid=200100397x1211364903x1200713227
Obama has a scary, unknown friend!! OMG!! Level 5 shit storm!! Maybe Michael Signator is implanted in Obama's body during debates. Maybe he is a Community Organizer sent from Mars to take over the country!! :sarcasm:

I am SO sick of these fucking wackos.

These people are pathetic. Does anyone remember during the primaries when they did this SAME EXACT THING to Hillary?

On Edit: I found one of the articles about when they started this shit with Hillary.

Hillary’s Mystery Woman: Who Is Huma?
http://www.observer.com/2007/hillary-s-mystery-woman-who-huma?page=0%2C1

Please note that in both stories they use the super duper scary word, MYSTERY

They may be transparent to US- but to others, this shit sells.

1. I don't get it (and not your post but the article)
it sounds like this guy is some tough guy used as a personal assistant/bodyguard for Obama. Do I need to have a hissyfit over this one?

3. You should be having a hissy fit. YOU and I may KNOW how to
interpret this story RATIONALLY... but, I see this as YET ANOTHER right wing assertion that Obama is an unknown entity.
Can't trust him and his mysterious friends.

This shit is straight from the Republican play book. Funny thing is, this is part of what they did to McCain in 2000 when they said his daughters adoption was "Mysterious".

Mystery is Republican for: DO NOT TRUST.

2. I remember Hillary doing the same exact thing to Obama
including attacking him over Ayers and Wright - but other than that, yeah, they're pretty wacko.

4.  Actually Politico reported on this non-news story yesterday.
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 10:22 AM by onefreespiritedchick
I believe he is some type of security person to Obama. For what reason this is being reported, who knows? Except to stir up crap maybe?

5. "Overt" Man Guided McHate for years now hiding in shadows. Why?
The shadowy figure of Phil Gramm is not known to many Americans any more, but he used to be a player. He was a key player in John McCain's life. After Johnny was burned by stalling some regulations for his pal Charles Keating, he was gun shy. Then he finally found a tougher financial adviser, Phil Gramm of Texas. If people complained about tough times, Uncle Phil called them "a nation of whiners" and the pundits loved it. Phil told 'em the sense of impending doom in the finance sector was just "psychological" and he was right. By a little wealth spreading, from the poor to the rich, all is on the road to recovery. Add in a little populist talk for the masses and all will be well. No big deal for Phil. But he's been hidden away.

Why has Johnny been hiding Phil Gramm? And where has he been hiding him? He was chief financial adviser until the first bailouts began. Then media stories were unflattering on Gramm and he was sent into hiding. Where is he now and how is he advising McHate to behave now?

6. It is their latest deflection, and yet another attempt to create doubt---
a non-story they are trying to "make" one.

Please vote the poll down, as "should Obama tell us more about what he does" is winning.

8. I think it's an attempt to make us think maybe Obama has a secret gay lover...
Edited on Mon Oct-20-08 11:39 AM by jenmito
"He's the star of bulletins chronicling Barack Obama's movements, one of only a few nonrelatives to consistently get time with the Democratic candidate for president and a trusted confidant who has shared some of the most pivotal moments of Obama's career with him...

"Barack and Michelle Obama regularly confer with Mike, as do senior campaign officials. Sen. Obama has met with Signator both at the Obamas' home and at Mike's," LaBolt said in a statement."

9. Hm. I don't see it quite like that- more like a push to say Obama has shady friends
that he shares his thoughts with. Can we trust Michael Signator with private confidential matters?

That type of thing.
