Are there any polls that

track why and how people who are changing their choices are doing so.

WOuldnt this be a measure of the effectiveness of campaign messages ?

I would expect there are private polls for the candidates and parties (including ones with respect to the opponent) but are there polls with publically available result ?

you wont get the votes unless you get the voters and you need to know how to do that - especially the ones you don't already have.

are worrying too much about the polls.

I just feel there's so much more we can do.
If people put the amount of energy into Kerry's campaign as they do bitching about polls it might just make a difference.
