This is both creepy and brilliant at the same time.

I’ll have to ask my son about this.

Credit to Obama for taking 19th Century Marxism, 20th Century Socialist agitation and propoganda, and marrying them to 21st Century Marketing.

He bought one of the channels on Dish Network.

This is beyond creepy.

I did watch his satellite channel piece in its entirety for posterity’s sake, though I found it to be uncomfortably filled with propaganda...

Later that evening while watching another channel an Obama commercial came on the TV. Towards the end of the commercial a tab appeared in the upper right that said ‘Press Select to Learn More’. I asked my friend if I was really seeing such a thing and expressed my concern that it was real. I pressed “Select’ on the remote and lo-and-behold, I went right to the 24/7 Obama channel...

That was the first time my television every asked me to interact with it in any meaningful way, and actually guided me to a station broadcasting a shipload of BS. What about those less aware? I fear for my Country...

yep but it seems to be working. Obama is everywhere and I mean everywhere. So people will mindlessly cast votes on Nov 4. It has been a highly successful US election propaganda campaign. It worked in vaulting O ahead of Hillary and it sure looks to be working now. If people don’t react to the convo O had with plumber alone than this country will get what it deserves.

Maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel but the future sure appears to be bleak. If Obama wins as big as I suspect he will it will be very hard to overcome it for years and years to come. The Repuplican Party will be in shambles (not that they aren’t already).

Maybe Savage’s party will flood our politics with true traditional conservatives for people to really get behind. But even Savage seems to have a cooky fringe side to him that may never work in the mainstream political process. But we can now see what it will take. No more old men running for President. This country cares way too much about style.

12. The poor guy was trapped...
Once he got there, there was no message telling him what button to press to change the channel, so he's been stuck on the Obama channel for the last four days, pathetically weeping.

5. If you have DISHTV, and an Obama commercial comes on, you can
Edited on Tue Oct-14-08 05:14 PM by BrklynLiberal
see a little message in the upper right handcorner of the screen that tells you that you can press "SELECT". It will go directly to Channel 73, and that is the 24/7 Obama channel on DISHTV.

8. The last dittohead poster said the country
cares too much about style and that is why Americans won't vote for an old guy. Are you serious, dude? Repukes only vote on image. Why the hell do you think gramps chose Palin? Hey, but I guess this guy is saying that Obama has more style and I must admit I agree.

BTW, to the idiot poster saying that the first time Dish asks to interact with the TV is with an Obama commercial that is false. I have seen that done many times for other products as well. Obama is not the first nor the last to do this.

13. Agitation and propaganda are the surest means of generating public opinion.
Call them what you will, but they're crucial. It's called "PR" or "publicity" in these days however. Even the Chinese Communist Party Propaganda Department has renamed itself the "Publicity Department." Why would anyone deny that propaganda is just a means to popularize a certain worldview and set of ideas?
