In an ideal (but realistic) world, how many states do you give Obama?
I give him 36 states.

I give McCain the following: Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S.Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Alaska.

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska (4 electoral votes), Oklahoma, South Carolina, South dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wyoming

6. For me
I give all states but Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota, Mississippi, Ohio, Arizona, Alaska and Montana to Obama.

I believe Obama will snag "unlikely" states such as West Virginia, Tennessee, Utah, Idaho and Kansas. He may also make it competitive in North Dakota.
