Debate III will be McCain's Waterloo. RNC Pulling Money out of Presidential Campaign: Save Yourself
It looks like Debate III in Hofstra University is McCain's last stand, in other words it will be his Waterloo. The polls are beginning to harden and there is second-guessing of the McCain Campaign by GOP insiders including his selection of Sarah Palin and the nasty turn of his campaign attacking Obama instead of concentrating on the economy. It seems like McCain is Nero playing the harp while Rome burns.I cannot believe at the amount of hand-wringing that has been shown in the Sunday morning shows with the prospect of an Obama landslide. Even Governor Charlie Crist (R, FL) seems to have thrown McCain under the bus by stating that he will not campaign with him to take care of the state's weak economy. Crist is hearing his inner voice of "save yourself" while McCain sinks deeper and deeper in quicksand. It seems clear that the RNC will start shifting money from the Presidential campaign if the debate does not provide a "game changer" for McCain. It is high noon for Liddy Dole, Mitch McConnell, Saxby Chambliss, Ted Stevens and Gordon Smith and there is trouble for the GOP in New Mexico and Colorado Senatorial campaigns. It looks like "Happy Days Are Here Again" for the Democratic Party.

2. I've said it before, when McCain loses, the GOP will utterly turn on McCain.
They never liked him to begin with and they must realize now or atleast soon, that nominating this guy was a huge mistake. McCain is screwed in more ways than one come November.
