John Zo(m)by Is A Useless Charlatan
He needs to make up his mind if he's a pollster or pundit...

5. He's Rewriting History
He is saying Gore was ahead in the waning days of Campaign 00 which is incorrect; he was playing catch up...And he said that Bush* and Kerry ttraded leads in Campaign 00 which is incorrect; Kerry was playing catch up most of the time...

He was saying that to suggest Obama's lead is not "significant"...

14. I agree Obama needs to be doing better with Latinos
Edited on Sun Oct-12-08 08:45 AM by Gman
that is the one weak area right now. In fact, we got a call from a local Latino former Hillary supporter to block walk for a Latino congressman here who is in a tight race. The woman explained who else would be covered in the block walk. My wife asked about Obama, would he be included, the woman paused and said no. We said we wouldn't be there. We're not going to perpetuate this crap with the Hispanic community being all macho and insulted that Hillary did not win.

You're going to say the polls... blah, blah, blah. Well I'm sitting here in a heavily Hispanic congressional district and I know what's going on here and I can tell you there is little enthusiasm about Obama. THe support is lukewarm at best.

So yes, Obama needs to do better with Latinos. That's the one weakness in his campaign. He needs to make a swing through Texas which would help out a few Democrat incumbent congressmen in tight races as well as democratic challengers that are almost there. But knowing what went on at our state convention, I don't expect Obama to show up anytime soon in this part of Texas.

THere is plenty of racism in the Hispanic community against Blacks. In fact, in many it's ways worse than any racism I've ever seen in whites. That's what Obama is up against in the Hispanic community. Racism.

18. Um, I saw a poll just a short time ago giving him over 2/3 of the Latino vote.
How exactly could we be doing better?

19. That's not good enough.
He needs to be more like 4/5 or 80% If Obama only gets 66% of the Hispanic vote, he'll only doing maybe 20% better than Bush did with the Hispanic vote in 04.

3. He probably needs to stay in Hannity's good graces.
It seems like every time I make the mistake of listening to Hannity for a few minutes that Zogby is either on the show, was just on the show or is coming up.

In 04 he wanted Kerry to win to prove he was right and every other pollster was wrong...Substitute McCain for Kerry this time and you have your answer...
