1. I think we're going to have to see how the media handles this. If they let
it sputter and die, I don't think it'll have much of an impact. If they keep fanning the flames, a la Rev. Wright, I think it'll become too huge for them to deal with.

5. And, the Dems need to keep it alive, too -- again, a la the Repubs fervor in
keeping Wright in everybody's face.

We can do it. The more they see what's in the report -- and I think the majority of it is pretty damning -- the more attention it'll get. It's a HUGE report and I think it'll be the gift that keeps on giving.

10. I hope so.
Altho the Obama campaign may want to stay away from it because the hype around the investigation is considered politically motivated

13. True, but the hype is still politically motivated.
It's probably better that it floats around in the air for a week or so. Just enough to strangle their campaign.

15. Let's spread the word. It's ABUSE of POWER.
Edited on Fri Oct-10-08 09:49 PM by Lint Head
You cannot abuse power legally or illegally. That's why we don't have a king or dictator running our country.
I am going to use that word in all conversations and arguments I have with people that are republican.
