I think by now we all would agree Obama can seal the deal on this election by promising the american middle class and working people a New Deal, similiar to that of FDR's but updated to cope with our very own modern problems.

A bold and coherent strategic initiative that will link economic security with energy independence, national security and a promise to rebuild america and a new progressive social contract to replace the on-your-own-free-market-trickle-down intellectually bankrupt philosophy of reaganomics and the contract with/on america.

as we all know, language is important...what would you call this New Deal for the 21st century?

I've decided the only way out is to massively push job creation.
If you drive unemployment down a little, it will drive up wages.
This will allow wages to catch up with inflation.
This will allow families to afford their mortgages or get new mortgages.
This will allow real estate prices to return to "normal" (as in, growing in relation to inflation)
