Morning Joe's brain on drugs: Sarah Palin has a bright political future ahead
Joe said this sometime between 6 and 7 shortly after they got done declaring the debate a snooze-fest. He also made some comment about how she is so successful at rallying the base that she'll be a star in the party for years.

While that may be true (base rallying), you'd think that Joe (as a former congressman)would know that the base isn't big enough to win you the major prizes of political office(Senator, President)on its own. You need to appeal to independents and in some cases disenchanted members of the other party.

Palin's appeal amoung independents and even moderates of either party has nose-dived in the recent weeks. If McCain doesn't win it's quite likely that she may find herself out of office even in Alaska due to the recent scandals. On top of that, by the time the next election rolls around there's going to be even more dirt to throw at her which I'd think would make her totally unviable to the non-base population.

Seriously Joe. If you think Palin still has a future beyond being a FOX News talking head if McCain loses you really need to lay off the booze as it's killing your brain cells.

1. Palin will get what's coming to her
And that's not a bright political future. About the only white thing I can see that tart in is a white hood. She's a hate spreader and hopefully the intelligent people of Alaska see her for what she is now.

3. Yeah, she and David Duke.
Maybe they can dominate a school board somewhere.

5. I'd bet against that.
She's got 4 years to go before the next presidential election, if she runs. That's a long time in the limelight for someone as loosely wrapped as her. If she doesn't implode in the meantime she'll have to endure a Republican primary and that is going to be fun to watch.
