"I told John this was a bad strategy"
What does everyone think that Palin's words will be to try to distance herself from this mess?
I expect that she will throw himn under the bus first chance she gets because she has a pattern of doing so.

10. Hey Now
Don't be sending me over there. I didn't say that McCain shouldn't be under the bus. My point is that Palin is crazy and will do or say anything to promote herself. The positive thing I could say about McCain is that he allowed us to see Palin now and destroy her chances of ever running again. She would have been much scarier in 4-8 years because she probably would eventually have learned a few facts.

21. Where in the fuck did that come from? The OP pointed out that ...
Sarah Palin is an opportunistic, back-stabbing twunt, who will say or do anything to advance her own agenda. I agree with every word of the post. Should I head over to freeperville as well?

5. Maybe so...
but he's been at the game much longer, and I suspect he'll have his bases covered when she tries it. There is a reason he's not doing this himself, the problem is, he sent out a messenger to do his dirty work that everyone knows can't form a sentence without the campaign's help. He pulled the trigger. He can't take the bullet back and it's ricocheting. I suspect both will have a hard time continuing on in politics after this campaign.

9. At least one political party listens to
its base! The left of the Democratic party gets thrown under the bus right after the primaries.

11. Distance herself?
I don't think so. I think she's happy as a pig in mud. She fired the first shot. She actually fired the second shot too when she brought up Rev. Wright, supposedly against McCain's wishes, to Bill Kristol during an interview.

She's too clueless to know that she's about to be annihilated.

will be the first time we finally see Gov. Lame-ass on the Sunday morning chat shows -- completely trashing and throwing her running mate under the bus.

27. She doesn't have sense enough to distance herself.
The woman is so vacuous and self-absorbed, she really thinks she's going to save the campaign and become America's sweetheart.

It won't dawn on her that she was merely a repig tool until the early morning hours on election night when she suddenly looks around and finds herself standing in an empty room without so much as a sayonara and return ticket home.
