3. In Texas you get a swagger in your walk...
when you got bucked off a bronco hard. Otherwise it's just B.S.

6. There are two things that make you swagger:
Either you've been riding a horse all day (isn't Bush afraid of horses?) or you just got your ass kicked.

I just heard Kerry's speech and it's safe to say that Bush just got his ass kicked. :)

7. No, he has something that is common throughout mankind
Overcompensation, or short man syndrome. Both short in stature and other measurements. Feels he has got to make up for matters.

Sad thing is, it sells thousand of large, unnecessary SUVs every year.

10. By swagger we ain't talking about gait
1. swagger, ruffle, prance, strut, sashay, cock -- (to walk with a lofty proud gait, often in an attempt to impress others; "He struts around like a rooster in a hen house")
2. browbeat, bully, swagger -- (discourage or frighten with threats or a domineering manner; intimidate)
3. swagger, bluster, swash -- (act in an arrogant, overly self-assured, or conceited manner)

11. He's an asshole.
That's coming from a sixth-generation Texan.

Although my backwater relatives in East Texas, who are Church of Christ fundamentalist types, love the man, I can tell you he's NOTHING like anyone in my family. We are the real deal. I'm a gal, but no man in my family walks like he has a load in his pants, smirks, or affects some simpering accent to sound like a yokel. Hell, they ARE yokels!

The shrub is definitely all hat and no cattle, without a doubt.

I recently moved to Oregon from Texas to attend law school. When people find out I'm from Texas, they give me a little half-smile and look away apologetically. Some say, "Gee, I couldn't tell, you don't have an accent!" (My dad is a radio announcer, so none of us talks with an accent.) Then I explain I left Texas because shrub is going back there in January, and things get better immediately. :P

He's a douchebag.

I was bow legged from riding horses, and I have been thrown froma horse too. I had a swagger but I did not look like I was walking like my under wear was bunched up to high. that is how he walks.

call what Shrub does is more of a banty rooster strut than a cowboy swagger. The point about being bowlegged from riding horses is a good one. We all know that Shrub wouldn't know a colt from a filly or a Western saddle from an English saddle.

17. Wide-based shuffling gait
consistent with Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome or Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. John Wayne had a swagger-GWB has a stagger.
