Finally! Obama closes in with threats. YES
Because of fear and the experiences of 2000 and 2004 it has been a long time coming...
I am getting hopeful and excited. I think we will win.

My ramblings to follow are inspired by today's word from the Asheville NC rally that Senator Obama has put Mc.Cain /Palin on notice that they best not irritate him too much. It's 30 days out from the election, a perfect time frame to step things up and gear up to win.

He says he will respond in kind, with a large reserved arsenal of ammunition.

Watching Senator Obama from day one, on the stage of the Democratic hopefuls, through the hard fought fight with Senator Clinton to the long in coming bitter end, I have been increasingly impressed with the competence of not only the campaign, but the decisions that were made.
Some of the time I did not agree in specifics but agreed on that it was necessary in order to stay on the proper path, which was to move us towards a WIN.

They slowly but surely proved to be the right ones to advance that cause. Winning is not a personal thing here, not a national thing, it's a global necessity.
.
Sen. Obama has been steadily advancing without a major stumble.
He issued a warning today. It chills me to know this. I believe him because he has allowed himself to become credible through past behavior, and the feeble opponents know this as well.

If he has come this far - and if you take a minute and think back to the many contenders on stage he has pulled ahead of, including numerous phenomenally qualified candidates, and remember the long path we traversed to where we are today - his threat has a ring of WIN to it that makes me want to shout from the roof.
============================
INSTEAD of shouting:
I will put a large 30 foot banner on the fence of my property tomorrow in a large downtown busy NC street, that tells people they have only 5 more days to register. Where to do it, and how, and how to verify if their registration is valid.

Also:
I will continue to assume we are the underdog because I am one who sat at watched Al Gore and John Kerry "lose", and frankly, I don't want to have to contemplate leaving this country which I love and chose. I have been naturalized for almost 40 years and don't want to "go back".
==================================
The warning was issued today in my state, in the town where my son lives, when I learned about it I got a visual of
Butch Cassidy and Sundance.

I envisioned McCain and Sarah, sitting on the high ledge before the jump. They are incredulous at the advancing professional who is closing in on them with impeccable knowledge and behavior.

WHO IS THAT GUY? they keep saying.

1. Great job with the banner!
Now, let's get ready to watch Obama destroy McCain and Palin. :)
