David Gregory Factoid of the Day
Since this guy seems intent on spitballing Obama at every opportunity, I think it's time to return the favor.

"Gregory has been married to former federal prosecutor and former Fannie Mae executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, Beth Wilkinson."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Gregory_(journalist)

Oh, and then there's this:

"In his personal life, Gregory also rubs shoulders with newsmakers. At a baby shower for his wife before their son Max, now 3, was born, Michael Chertoff, then an assistant attorney general, disappeared into another room with a Justice Department colleague while Gregory tried to figure out what was going on. It turned out they were finalizing a plea agreement with John Walker Lindh, the American captured while fighting for the Taliban. Wilkinson last month became general counsel of Fannie Mae, and the couple now have 8-month-old twins as well."

2. He gave one mention of this as "full disclosure" about two weeks ago
yet hasn't mentioned his wife's job since, even as this
crisis grew and the bailout bill was proposed ... and his
support of it became obvious in the way he questioned
guests.

100 days..

In case there are any doubts about his leanings.....

The Media Research Center (MRC) is a conservative<1><2> content analysis organization based in Alexandria, Virginia, founded in 1987 by L. Brent Bozell III. Its stated mission, according to its website, is "to bring balance and responsibility to the news media",<1> and the MRC catalogs and reports on what it asserts to be widespread liberal media bias in the United States press.

The MRC has received financial support from several foundations, including the Bradley, Scaife, Olin, Castle Rock, Carthage and JM foundations.<3>

12. The guy appears to me to love the good life and will do what is necessary in the kissing ass game
to get himself ahead. He has the credentials to be a good journalist but it looks like he wants more and is willing to sacrifice his credibility in that field to go as far as he can.

16. Thank you
He is nothing but a right wing pundit masquerading as a journalist. I saw the same thing at www.jossip.com/david-gregorys-ties-to-fannie-mae-20081001/ He is also one of Phil Griffin's best friends.
