The question I most wanted to ask Palin -- had I been the moderator:

"Governor, before I move to the next question - can you please tell us why you didn't speak to Katie Couric in the same manner in which you're speaking to all of us here tonight? Specifically, I refer to all the "didja's", "gosh's", "betcha's", and the accompanying winks?

"Governor...?"
