Republicans Speak Out Of Both Sides Of Their Faces
Gov Palin during the debate continued to spout the republican talking points about getting government out of the way and letting the private sector spur economic growth. It was disappointing that Sen Biden didn’t use the opportunity to explain to the Governor that McCain and the Bush administration are literally begging the government to step in and bail-out the huge PRIVATE corporations that failed. Let me say that again, those private corporations that were deregulated and allowed to have a free hand, FAILED and they, the same people that bad-mouth the government, are asking for government help.

2. Know how you can tell a level-headed Republican from Georgia?
Chew runs out of both sides of his mouth.

4. Katrina Vanden Heuvel agrees with me. Or I agree with her.
I just heard Katrina on Seven Days in America say what I was trying to say in this post. Sarah Palin got away with saying in the debate that she thought that the government needed to get out of the way and let the private sector work it out. She wasn't speaking of the economic crisis where John McCain is supporting a GOVERNMENT BAILOUT OF THE F&*%$ING PRIVATE SECTOR. The damn republicans get away with both saying the government shouldn't regulate and then begging for government help.

If it was me, Paulson would be fired as part of the bailout package. Replaced with a "bi-partisan" person. And the government would not give the private banks one dime without them getting on their knees and saying they were sorry for ever saying that the government was bad.
