Mr. Obama: Please find a mic and start talking.
It doesn't really matter what you say. You're going to win this round.

But if you're once again the last person to find a mic, you will once again miss an opportunity to look like a leader.

As always, people are more likely to follow people who lead them in the wrong direction than they are to follow people who lead them nowhere at all.

Thanks Chickie!

6. I'm talking about stepping up to a mic and addressing the nation about
what occured today.

That's what leaders do.

Bush gets it. Paulson gets it. McCain gets it. Even Pelosi and the Boner get it.

Why can't Obama get it?

11. Read carefully:
What leaders do in crisis is they get in front of microphones and make statements in regards to those crises. They address their constituents directly.

Barack Obama HAS to do that. He HAS to do that TODAY. He HAS to do that RIGHT NOW.

Now, I understand that, being so uninformed, you think Obama can throw a couple lines into a stump speech, or field a couple questions in a hallway, and come out looking like a leader, but that's only because you're a follower.

See?

10. If that's your idea of a presidential statement in face of this financial crisis,
I understand your support for his lack of a statement.

13. I'm sorry,
you're the one who said it doesn't matter what he says. Why is it my problem that you don't like what he said?

12. Everybody is tuning in to see what the leaders have to say about this.
He has to step up to a mic and issue a statement.

That's what leaders do.

How is it that you don't understand this? Do you ever watch football? They do it after almost every game. And in the playoffs or the Super Bowl, they're sure to do it.
