No matter what the punditry says, and believe me they will be whoring for McCain, that's all Obama has to do. Obama has the wind of the issues and the truth of things at his back. All he has to show to the skeptics is that they can like him, trust him, and believe in him.

It's the likeability, stupid.

1. OK, I don't think a candidate should have to be handsome. But....
How does one be unhandsome if one already is handsome?

4. The media narrative demands a McCain victory...try not to care
after all of his fuck-ups this week, they'll create a reason to say he won, just to keep things going. He'll have to lose his temper and drool on himself for Obama to be proclaimed the winner tonight.

11. This is true.
The most likely media line after this will be "Scrappy maverick pulls off narrow debate victory to keep Presidential hopes alive."

12. Yes! His "I'm having a great time" with a smile and a nod was just killer
after the most perfect comeback to McCain's attention whoring "suspending my campaign."
