John McCain, a lifetime supporter of deregulation, a man who was caught in an ethics scandal in the last financial crisis America faced, a man who said he doesn't know much about the Economy so he is reading Greenspan's book, a man who 2 weeks ago said the fundamentals of the economy are good, a man who as of Tuesday did not read a 3 page plan that had been out for several days, a man who is not in any of the Committees directly negotiating the bailout plan, this is the man who is to ride into Washington and take charge and lead us to economic recovery???
This same man who's campaign manager's lobbying company was taking $15,000 per month until a month ago from Freddie Mac???
Now we are to believe that he will suspend his campaign, rush to Washington immediately (except after a few more campaign stops and interviews), where he will lead the plan that bails out the mess that his mistaken ideology and lobbyist friends have created in the 1st place? Where in reality he will be just standing outside the Committee Room, waiting to be updated by people who are actually in the meeting, as he is not in the Committee and he really does not understand a damn thing about what is going on.
Meanwhile, he does not know if he will be attending probably the most watched Presidential Debate in decades that will be happening on a Friday night when most of Congress will be in recess preparing to watch said debate. This same man who cries every time he can about not having his 10 townhall meetings.
You can't make up this stuff folks.
