I liked them on the left; now that they are on the right, I don't even notice them. They are too far to the right... after the date and time, etc., I am not even seeing them now.

24. On the right, it's much harder to tell what thread the rating applies to.

Your eye has to track all the way to the right and be interrupted by 3 other columns on the way. That's a decrease in usability. The original way, if I wanted to quickly access all must read threads, it was very simple to scan that column and click the link right next to it. Now you have to scan a column a long way from the text and click a link to the left, which is counter-intuitive because we are used to reading left to right.

How about making the placement of this column a user setting? A little trickier, but at least it can keep everybody happy.
