McCain is going to have all the pressure on him Friday.

He's slipping badly in the polls and it's a debate topic that should benefit him. This will be the narrative of the debate, can McCain pull out of his nosedive.

Hopefully the pressure gets to him and he stumbles!

1. They say he used to be good in debate. I never followed him

much, but I've seen vids where he looked like he held his own well. I just can't see him doing that now. He seems more like a doddering, stumbling letch. True, he won't have Palin's ass to distract him. But there is still the huge possibility that he won't be able to get thru the debate without blowing his stack or screwing up the presentation somehow. Is Joey Lieberman gonna be whisperin' in his ear? We'll have to check to see if Johnny's wearing an earpiece.

OTOH, I hope and pray Obama's been practicing and taking some lessons from Biden.
