Can John McCain go NOWHERE by himself?
I have Good Morning America on, and they are doing this "whistle stop tour" across America...I just saw an ad for this, and they say "This week, on GMA's Whistletop tour....Hillary Clinton...Barack Obama.....John and Cindy McCain.....Joe Biden." Cindy McCain? It just seems to me that Cindy is EVERYWHERE with him, like the 9/11 tribute. They showed part of the Hillary Clinton interview from GMA on the local news because we live in upstate NY, and Hillary was talking about how gender is not reason alone to vote for someone, and that the election is close because close elections are just part of our modern political reality now.

1. Every time I see McPOW, he's with Cindy or Sarah.
Or both! What a pathetic little man he has become. Who would come out to listen to his BS if he didn't have a beauty queen by his side?

2. He's trying to steal their youth and amp up his "I'm a man" standing
Instead of making him look more "virile" by having younger women accompany him he looks pathetic to all but the trophy wife crowd.

8. And that's a dumb strategy
He's already got the "trophy wife crowd" votes. All 14 of them.

3. Am no way a McCain fan, but there really IS a need for Cindy............apparently
(and I am not making this up), McCain needs her to (and don't laugh) comb his hair, put on a jacket, etc. The guy really has problems with his arms.

5. good point.
And I guess there's no harm in them appearing together (for the family values projection stuff...it just makes me laugh sometimes, because it really stands out ), but what does he do when Cindy is overseas on her charity trips? Or for all of the years that Cindy and him lived apart, when she was in Arizona?

7. Does she have to stand right next to the podium for every speech though?
And why doesn't she wear a nursemaid's uniform, if he needs that much attention? I hear you can get them for less than $300,000.

11. and to spur his thoughts in his Alzheimer addled mind
I don't really know if he has Alzheimer's but he is prone to senior moments, not someone I want in the White House.

4. Apparently not.
Who would have believed the Republickers would nominate someone who relies on handlers more than Bush?

6. I mentioned this very same thing to my husband last night. His response -
"McCain must think she's eye candy."

10. He comes from that era and mindset that sees women as an accessory, like a watch or a car...
If she looks good and costs a lot to maintain, it makes you more powerful.
