McCain reportedly ‘furious’ with Fiorina-“Carly will now disappear,”
McCain reportedly ‘furious’ with Fiorina, campaign adviser says she will ‘disappear’ from TV.

Today, McCain economic adviser Carly Fiorina bluntly stated that neither John McCain nor Sarah Palin were capable of running a major corporation (she said the same of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden). A top campaign adviser said Fiorina will be punished for her candid sentiments:

“Carly will now disappear,” this source said. “Senator McCain was furious.” Asked to define “disappear,” this source said, adding that she would be off TV for a while – but remain at the Republican National Committee and keep her role as head of the party’s joint fundraising committee with the McCain campaign.

Fiorina was booked for several TV interviews over the next few days, including one on CNN. Those interviews have been canceled.

41. Seriously.
That's not a political zinger. Objectively she was HORRIBLE as HP's CEO -- and that was before she got into the deep weeds legally. If you had to name an example of a CEO who was demonstrably not qualified to lead a company, she would easily be on the top 5 list.

It is as if these Republicans don't even understand the concept of irony.

go to hell and stay there! (howw sixth grade of me). ;-) Seriously, because she doesn't know shit herself about how to run a major company, my friend lost her job and during her last couple of weeks had to go down to Costa Rica to teach two very limited-English speaking ladies to do her job. Personally, I think Carly is a fucking witch.

HUNTS POINT, Wash. -- Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will not be making an appearance in Washington next week.

Republican donors had been invited to a fundraiser with Palin next Wednesday in Hunts Point on the Eastside, but the McCain campaign said Tuesday night that she will not be here.

"Clinton blindsided by scheduled event with Palin"

AP foreign, Wednesday September 17 2008

By DEVLIN BARRETT

Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has canceled an appearance at a New York rally next week after organizers blindsided her by inviting Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, aides to the senator said Tuesday.

Several American Jewish groups plan a major rally outside the United Nations on Sept. 22 to protest against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Organizers said Tuesday that both Clinton, who nearly won the Democratic nomination for president, and Palin, Republican candidate John McCain's running mate, are expected to attend.

That would have set up a closely scrutinized and potentially explosive pairing in the midst of a presidential campaign, one in which the New York senator is campaigning for Democratic nominee Barack Obama while Palin actively courts disappointed Clinton supporters.

Granted, she handeled it horribly and amazingly also threw McCain under the bus. And she shouldn't really be talking about successful CEO's because she ran HP into the ground. But I think she is right that none of the candidates running for president could run HP. Unless they have some special knowledge in Computers. If Palin,Obama, McCain, and Biden are named CEO of HP tomorrow, I certainly wouldn't buy stock. Would you?

69. McCain passed her over, and chose *Palin*.
I think that slap in the face to every remotely competent Republican woman has earned McCain some payback.

70. Jeez Carly don't ever let the truth come out of your mouth.
Lies are the foundation of the McCain campaign and truth is like a wrecking ball to it.

72. being pres is NOT the same as running a comment. good for us to get a jab, BUT
running a company is not the same as running the country. and i dont suppose too many in the govt could step into a company and run it. maybe having worked in a company for a period they can end up on the top, .... with ambition, as they did in politics. but to pretend it is the same

i dont buy it.
